Looking for a roommate for the 2008-2009 year?
Hello! I'm currently looking for a place for the 2008-2009 school year. I can go as high as $600 and would prefer to have my own room and bathroom, but am open to the possibility of sharing a bath given the right roommates. The only "have-to" is a parking place because I'll be commuting for my job 3 - 4 days a week. I don't mind paying extra for parking, if necessary.

About me: I'm a 23 year old re-admit for fall 2008. I'm a design major who is laid-back, neat (but not obsessively so), responsible (both will bills and personal space), loves art and music, and is fun-loving. I'd really like to have social, friendly roommates as opposed to people who only pay the bills and retreat into the solitude of their room all the time, especially since after having been gone for 2 years, I'd love to meet people. I'm not opposed to pets, guests, or the occasional impromptu party.

Comment or email me at "julie dot arndt at gmail dot com" if you're interested!

Sycamore Lane Garden Apartments SUB-Lease Available starting immediately...
so i pretty much can't continue living here because im getting poor and im looking for someone to take over my lease for next year... it's kind of pricey but its about $100 less than the leases they're signing off new residents...
the apartment is in a good location, right next to the parking lot in a secluded corner so you can be loud... two of my three neighbors are staying for next year and theyre super nice and relaxed... ive been able to have parties without complaint... even 15-20 people over without complaint... the unit itself is pretty quiet... you don't hear anyone and people aren't very nosy... most of the neighbors are hardly ever home... it's also closer to the laundry room ($1 for washing 50 cents for drying)... parking isn't bad and their's available parking next door which is right by the apartment...

~600 sq feet
~1 bedroom;1 bath; storage/laundry room (if you have your own machines); large living room and kitchen with small dinning area; carpeted floors except in bathroom and kitchen and entrance;
~in wall heating and air conditioning;in wall closet (not walk in)
~window's facing west so sun doesn't wake you up
~pool with patio area's and gazebo's all around
~Rent is $950 until august 31st where the rate goes up to $970 (my renewal rate)
----->Leases are going for $1050-$1070 right now
~cat's allowed with $250 deposit
~community lounge & gym
~right behind U-MAll: starbucks, old teahouse, gottschalks, world market, the Grad and AM/PM
~across the street from RiteAid and UC Davis Campus
~10 minute walk to MU a
~42A/B, G Line, B Line, C Line and some others stop right outside the apartment complex (less than block) that take you to the MU and Silo

Im a pretty clean person... the carpets, cabinets and walls are in good condition... there are no bug problems or mice problems which is always good... the management is nice and you can always find one of the two maintenance workers around... it usually takes about 24 hrs to get things fixed... good place to live if you have no car because everything is within walking and biking distance... not a loud complex on the Anderson side (where my apartment is) but there are occasional parties in the larger units (4 bedrooms on other side of the parking lot)... but they never get out of hand and you never see cops breaking them up...

if you wanna move in during the summer that works for me...but i am honestly looking for someone to take over my lease for from September 1st 2007 to August 31st 2008... if you can take over starting July or August, that would be awesome... in any case call or reply so we can work something out ♥

Reply if interested :)
